Engel DUI Law is a Toronto practice that defends drinking and driving charges, including impaired driving, over 80, refusal, impaired by drug, care and control and dangerous operation. Michael Engel is a former Crown attorney who has worked as defence counsel for over 35 years and has spent the last two decades defending only DUI cases. Before private practice he prosecuted many kinds of cases, argued appeals as a prosecutor and conducted coroner's inquests. In 1988 he went into private practice devoted exclusively to criminal defence work. As defence counsel he has argued summary conviction appeals in Superior Courts across the province and has also argued indictable appeals.
